The thread gauge ring must screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (rejected). All parts and gauges are referenced at 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL provides a factory calibration certificate. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the Werkstück's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The Werkstücke and Lehren are calibrated at 20° Celsius
- Calibration Services: VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request. Independent lab calibration follows set norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
